What do you do when you have 12+ years of Brand Marketing design experience for a major fashion retailer, but realise your love for the planet is bigger than your job? You jack it in to begin a career helping the planet in the only way you know how, through design. So that's exactly what Lauren did. Lauren's focussing her skills and experience from digital, print and campaign graphics, into designing for nature, rewilding, and the environment. Helping improve graphic communications for a better world.
After moving onto a narrow boat in the Midlands over 7 years ago Lauren's love of nature grew, cherishing the moments next to the water this life gave her. This close to nature living, brought an acute awareness of the changing planet. No weather condition is dampened on a boat, if it hails the hailstones thunder onto the roof, if it's sunny the solar panels bring in enough energy to power a village, when it's cold the boat becomes surrounded by an icy frozen prison, fixed in place for as long as it takes to thaw. In the time living like this it becomes obvious how the seasons have changed, and shifted. When it's hot it's incredibly hot, when it rains it floods, when it's windy the trees fall. The time for doing nothing is gone, the time for action is now. So with this brings a new journey to help mankind to navigate these changing times and encourage them the cherish the earth.
